Description
The Elock‑B100 is a robust electric bolt-action lock designed for secure access control in commercial and industrial environments. It runs on 12 V DC and is a fail-safe type — meaning it locks when powered and unlocks if there’s a power failure, which is desirable for safety and egress.
One of its standout features is its configurable delay time, allowing a delay before the bolt retracts (0, 2.5, 5, or 9 seconds). This feature can be used to enforce a short waiting period on controlled exits, which is useful in security installations with a delayed egress requirement.
The lock also provides door position feedback via N.C. and N.O. sensor connections, enabling real-time monitoring through an access control panel. A built-in delayed egress control point further supports integration into systems that require managed exit behavior.
Mechanically, the B100 is built with a sturdy stainless-steel bolt (16 mm throw) and strong faceplate, delivering high holding force. It operates reliably across a variety of door materials — wood, aluminum, or steel — and works with different door motions (sliding, swing, double-action).
In terms of power consumption, it draws a relatively high initial current (900 mA) when actuating, but drops to a lower holding current (~350–360 mA) when the bolt is engaged. This helps balance performance and energy use.
Finally, the lock is suitable for environments from –10 °C to +55 °C, making it resilient in a range of indoor and semi-exposed outdoor settings.
